Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his role in the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni has always been fascinated by the world of acting. He went to study acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared on film and television but it was his character on the small screen that brought him fame and a large fans. This is not surprising since he has been able grab audiences' attention by playing characters that are either side of the legal system. He played the part of a serial killer on his debut television show and then went on to play the role that of a NYPD detective. Multiple times he was recognized for his work in the highly coveted Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. Eyes that are piercing blue on his face have been deemed to be the most appealing aspect of his appearance. The eyes have been employed for portraying rough characters, as well as give them a sense of humour. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
